Congrats to our November Teach of the Month!!! Melanie Kennedy of Kilby CDC is this month's winner. Thanks to Chad Davis who nominated Miss Kennedy on behalf of his son Caleb Davis for nominating his teacher. Miss Melanie always goes the extra mile not only for Caleb, but all of her students. Her patience and love for her class is like nothing seen before. Miss Kennedy has already left an impression on the lives of these students that they will never forget. She is deserving of this honor!

Thanks to her student Brannon for nominating her. Brannon says that she is a very responsible teacher and that even when kids in the class disrespect her and don't listen she still tries really hard. Congrats to our February Teacher of the Month Teresa Patterson of Webster Elementary in Muscle Shoals was nominated by Kirk Miller, Kirk 's mom Colleen says that Mrs. Patterson has been able to bring out the best in her son. She has helped him build his self confidence and his grades have improved immensly. Mrs. Patterson is a supportive, caring and loving teacher that the kids are lucky to have. Mrs. Patterson and her 2nd grade class at Webster Elem. Congrats to our March Teacher of the Month Katrina Kenney of Threadgill Primary in Sheffield is this month's winner! Thanks to Leah Patterson, the mother of one of Mrs. Kenney's students for nomination her. Leah says that Katrina is the greatest Kindergarten teacher who never lets up even when the students are having trouble. She is sweet, stays late if needed and works closely with parents to give students all they need. "We love Mrs. Kenney". Katrina Kenney and her class at Threadgill Primary. Congrats to our April Teacher of the Month! Kelli Bassham of Lexington is our latest winter Ms. Bassham was nominated by Devon Youngblood. Devon says that when she and her family were going through a tough time Ms. Bassham was instrumental in making sure her grades remained strong and attitude remianed positive. Se helped in so many ways on a personal level and Devon is happy to have had Ms. Bassham as a teacher.
